Stacey was always interested in caring for others. In high school, she volunteered as a “candy-striper,” and later worked as a dining server in a senior living community. During her college years, she became a state-tested nursing assistant (STNA) and worked alongside her mom in a skilled nursing facility. Her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and moved to assisted living in this same community. Stacey also provided private-duty care to a family member living with Alzheimer’s.
While at Kenyon College, Stacey changed her mind about pursuing medicine and took an interest in Economics and French. Upon graduation, she became a business consultant and an entrepreneur. The common threads in her work have always been strong relationships, a drive to find solutions and superior customer service. After many years at home raising her four children, Stacey felt called to launch a new career that would bring the passion and joy that comes from helping others.
Stacey learned first-hand how difficult the transition to senior living can be. A member of her family faced health challenges that required them to find a new place to live. As she researched assisted-living options, she was overwhelmed by the phone calls, the lack of guidance and the sheer number of options. Now, as the owner of Oasis Senior Advisors, she is thrilled to provide the information, referrals, and guidance that families need – and she can provide this service for free!
When not helping families, Stacey enjoys being in the sunshine – walking, hiking, golfing, boating, and cooking out. Indoors, she is an avid reader, she crochets and is always making hand-made gifts.
Stacey is a Certified Senior Advisor®, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Community Educator with The Alzheimer’s Association and a Cleveland Clinic volunteer.
