Before Oasis, my 30+-year career with the world's leading aerospace company demanded teamwork, listening, and following through on commitments, every day, with the highest standards of integrity. My faith drives my everyday living, and I serve on the board of a non-profit ministry. Before Oasis, I was elected president of my professional association for Washington State. With Oasis, I'm serving my fourth term on the executive board of the Association of Senior Referral Professionals of Washington. To relax, I love exploring the outdoors with my dogs.

I share my passion for helping others with my wife of 30+ years, Lili, a pediatric nurse. We have three adult children.

Making a dramatically positive difference in the world is what gets me out of bed each morning. Someone through the MS Society did that for me nearly 25 years ago when I was going through the challenges of finding the “right” living and services for my mom… What a blessing!

After nearly 30 years of sales, marketing and training leadership roles in the music and auto industries, the inspiration I felt from all those years ago with my mom came back to guide me. Nowadays, I’m honored to do the same for seniors and their families who are also working to navigate through their own journeys. I love helping to eliminate challenges and simplify the process of finding the “right” living options and because I grew up around the north end of Lake Washington – and beyond – that’s where you’ll usually find me working to make a difference.

My journey today is alongside my sweetheart of 20+ years and with my three wonderful kids (two boys – who aren’t such kids anymore – and my pre-teen daughter), all of whom are making their own dramatically positive difference in the world.

In my “free” time, I pick up my guitar, write, sing and play – oftentimes for senior communities and events all over the Northwest. In addition, I’m honored to be a board member for Seattle’s Senior Care Coalition.

I love raising my children here and being close to extended family. Before Oasis, I was in skilled nursing and at a home-care agency, which really developed my passion for helping seniors. I love watching my clients relax when they realize they're working with someone who understands what they are going through and can truly help them. It makes my day!

Hi there! I'm Denise Callaghan, and I've spent over three decades immersed in the world of senior living in many capacities. My journey has been fueled by a genuine passion for seniors and guiding families through the complexities of the care continuum.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of wearing many hats, gaining invaluable expertise in areas such as Independent Living Facilities (ILF), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Adult Family Homes (AFH), and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). My knack for marketing and sales has consistently yielded exceptional results, but I appreciate the relationships I've built along the way. 

As a Senior Living Advisor my mission is simple: connect individuals and families with companies that prioritize compassion and quality care. 

Beyond the office, you'll find me cherishing time with my family: two amazing adult children who are both teachers, and my husband—a retired teacher and Hall of Fame coach. Golfing and traveling are my favorite pastimes, reminding me to embrace life's adventures, and that's the great advice I've applied from spending time with our greatest generation.

Looking ahead, I'm determined to support communities in achieving their financial and company goals, all while doing what's best for families looking for the best possible fit in a new living environment. 

I grew up in Austin, Texas, where I attended Southwest Texas State University and served as a Logistics Specialist in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood. Afterward, I spent 9 years in corporate interior design and sales, where I quickly identified that delivering dedicated, personalized customer service was my gift. I believe that a sense of security and contentment in life is vitally important, and I became a Senior Advisor to help my clients obtain these things for themselves and their families. I have been a licensed realtor for the last 20 years and have spent extensive time honing in on the needs of individuals as they approach their later years in life. The process of determining care and housing can be confusing and emotional. Many families don't know which direction to turn when looking for senior living, as the need is often unexpected and immediate. I am dedicated to making this transition process a warm and positive experience for you and your family.  

I enjoy supporting the Northshore communities and am an active member of the Bothell-Kenmore and Woodinville Chambers of Commerce. I have always been a dedicated member of the local Chambers of Commerce, helping to build and support the community. I have served on boards, run committees, and established new subgroups and networking groups within the chamber organizations. I occasionally retreat to my cottage on Anderson Island in the South Sound to bike, hike, and enjoy the PNW lifestyle.

As a lifelong resident of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I am grateful to live and work in such a vibrant community. My journey into helping seniors and their families began as an in-home caregiver, where I discovered how rewarding it is to support and connect with older adults. The close bond I shared with my grandparents shaped my compassion for others and instilled in me the importance of family and culture. I have always been fascinated by different cultures—their beauty, uniqueness, and rich history.

After spending the past four years in real estate marketing, I’ve developed strong communication skills and a knack for building genuine connections—skills I now bring to my role as a Senior Advisor. I am committed to making the transition to senior living as smooth and positive as possible, providing a warm, respectful, and personal approach every step of the way.

Outside of work, I’m a musician. I play bass, sing, and write original music in a band with my husband of 14 years. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I’m grateful to share that passion with the person I love as we continue to create together and look forward to growing our family.
