Olivia Mathis

Certified Senior Advisor®

I am a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Rogue Valley. After graduating from Southern Oregon University with a degree in Criminology, I went on to work in the regulatory and criminal justice field as an Investigator with the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office and Oregon Department of Justice. I have strong ties in the community through my children and Tigard Chamber of Commerce. Living in the Pacific Northwest has given my family many opportunities to go camping, fishing, biking, golfing, and traveling any chance we get. You can find me on the sidelines cheering for my son while he plays club lacrosse or on the mountain competing for his high school Ski Team. On the weekends, I’m at Autzen Stadium watching the Ducks play football where my daughter attends the University of Oregon.
Many families don’t know which direction to turn when looking for senior living, as the need is often unexpected and immediate. As a Certified Senior Advisor specializing in senior living services, my goal is to help make the transition to long term care as stress free as possible. Oasis Senior Advisors gives me the opportunity to work on behalf of my clients with their best interests in mind. I look forward to serving your loved ones free of charge in the Portland Metro Area.

Senior Living Advisor

I am originally from Texas and have lived in several other states, but I fell in love with Oregon when I moved here in 2012.

I love to travel and explore, locally and worldwide.

I have been in senior living since 2016. My very favorite thing about working with Oasis Senior Advisors is that I get to come alongside seniors and their families to help them navigate through transition. I am proud to be part of an incredible team of like-minded people.

Alisha Mack

Senior Living Advisor

Originally from Minnesota, which is where most of my family still reside. I have been living in Oregon since 2015. I have a degree in Organizational Leadership and Healthcare Administration. My passion for serving seniors began in 2003 when I started my first real job working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I had a strong relationship with my grandparents growing up. Working in senior care, I thought to myself, what if this person was my grandparent or me someday? I witnessed some caregivers who were cutting corners at work, rushing, or not taking time to explain to the seniors what they were going to be doing. It was then that I decided I would want someone like myself to be patient, kind, and thorough when providing care. I remember thinking, I can be that for seniors, I have the heart to care for others. I continued on in the industry working in different roles. I worked as a manager of Independent living communities for several years. I also worked as a traveling sales specialist who would mentor community relations directors in assisted living and memory care for several years before joining the team at Oasis Senior Advisors. After many years of being in the industry and working in multiple types of care or leadership roles, I love that being a senior living advisor allows me to share my expertise with families who are navigating a plan. My other passions in life include physical fitness activities such as acro yoga, dance, snowboarding, and hiking. I enjoy learning and love to read. I also really enjoy traveling the world and exploring how other cultures live and thrive. I am a proud Rotarian and enjoy my role as the membership chair and proudly support the international service committee projects within our club.

Holly Turner

Senior Living Advisor

I was born and raised in Southern California in the city and county of Orange. Following college, I began my career in the mortgage and finance industry. In 2008, my family and I moved to Portland, Oregon. I began a career that changed my life, working with Meals on Wheels in tandem with New Seasons Market. I managed their community outreach and philanthropic pursuits. This is where I found my true calling and love for working with seniors.
Most recently, I worked as a Community Relations Director for an assisted living community in Southeast Portland. My greatest reward is helping families navigate through stressful times and difficult transitions. This can be an overwhelming process, and my goal is to relieve that pressure and be your strongest advocate.
In my personal life, I am the mom to three amazing adult children living in three different states, so much of my free time is spent visiting them as much as I can. I also enjoy entertaining, swimming, snorkeling, football, cooking, walking my dog by the river, and especially spending time with friends and loved ones.
I look forward to working with you and helping you and your loved ones along your journey!

Senior Living Advisor

Hello! I grew up in Southern Oregon. However, I spent many summers on our family farm outside of Salem, Oregon, where I helped take care of my grandparents in their later years. I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Health Care Administration. Straight from college, I started my long-term care journey – working as an Assisted Living Activity Director, Skilled Nursing Social Service Director, Assisted Living/Home Care Administrator, and, most recently, Home Health Community Specialist. I loved working as a liaison, helping gather health information from all spectrums of care in order to get the client the services they needed.

I live in a small country town east of Salem with my husband, John, our 3 girls (including twins!), and our Golden Retriever, Penny. We love the country life and are fortunate to be near lots of family. We love all seasons that Oregon offers, mostly summertime with camping adventures, weekends to the beach, and enjoying quiet summer evenings at home.

I am eager to be a Senior Living Advisor, working with great knowledgeable team members. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work alongside families and their loved ones, ensuring the best possible transition. I bring experience and compassion to this role and I am excited to serve my community by offering this rewarding service to seniors.

Born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon I started my career in healthcare at an early age. In High school I was a Candy Striper for Providence St. Vincent Hospital and obtained my CNA license. I went on to study Nursing in College which led me to Home Health Care and eventually Human Resources. I obtained a certificate in Employee Relations Law and worked for a Hearing Health Care company for 20+ years. My husband of 27 years and I have two kids and three dogs. We have enjoyed volunteering for the OR Food Bank, Kiwanis, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and our kids’ schools, softball, baseball, and basketball organizations. I have always loved working with the Senior population and giving back to the community so, joining Oasis Senior Advisors was a natural transition for me. I genuinely appreciate the team of ethical, caring, compassionate, and diligent professionals I have the pleasure of working with. Oasis Senior Advisors is like no other and we welcome the opportunity to provide quality complementary services to your family.

Senior Living Advisor

I grew up in West Linn, Oregon and graduated from University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Minor in Anthropology. After college I worked as a Counselor and Case Manager in a secure treatment program for troubled youth for several years. I worked with kids ages 6-18 who were experiencing mental health challenges and learned skills in milieu management, crisis intervention & de-escalation, medication administration, and coordinated treatment plan reviews with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, state case workers and family members. In 2012 I broke into the senior living world as a Care Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility and memory care unit. I worked as the liaison between the hospital and facility when accepting new residents, gave clinical information to the insurance agencies on a weekly basis for continued authorization of therapy services, met with families and treatment teams for care conferences, and assisted in creating safe discharge plans. I held several other positions in different levels of care and most recently I managed an Independent Living program for 6 years.I live in my hometown with my husband Joe, our 2 boys, a Weimaraner, and a cat named Danger. We have a rowdy household and enjoy spontaneous dance parties, hiking, painting, and strategy board games. Our happy place is Neskowin on the Oregon Coast. I love the role of Senior Living Advisor – it aligns perfectly with my industry knowledge and desire to serve. I couldn’t ask for a better team than Oasis to learn from and grow with. I look forward to helping many families in the coming years.

I am a native Oregonian. My husband and I have lived in Happy Valley for many years. I graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Psychology and completed a Master’s Certificate in Gerontology from Texas Tech University in December of 2022. Our daughter recently graduated from college and moved out of state, so my husband and I are navigating the new role of empty nesters. I enjoy reading, spending time with my dog Louie, traveling, walking with friends, and attending local theater.

I started working with older adults while coordinating the Clackamas County RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) where I helped develop new sites and match participants with meaningful volunteer opportunities. I also served as the Resource Development Manager for a large local senior center. In 2016 I joined a small agency to assist families with finding living and care for older adults. I feel so thankful to be a part of this wonderful Oasis team who shares my goal of providing ethical, quality services with our client’s best interests in mind. My passion for this work began when my father developed dementia. I was a part-time caregiver for him and managed his care during his challenging journey with Lewy Body and Alzheimer’s dementia. I understand how difficult it can be to place a loved one outside of the home. I value my clients’ trust and work hard to help them navigate this world of living and care.

I feel fortunate to be able to be actively involved in my community and currently serve on the board of the Milwaukie Community Center Foundation. I am also a member of the Oregon Gerontological Association and the Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association, a sustaining member of the National Charity League, and have been a long-time volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Milwaukie Community Center.

Katie Stewart | Senior Living Advisor

I've spent my whole life here in the Pacific Northwest. I genuinely love the rain. I was born in Seattle but spent most of my childhood in Southern Oregon with my large extended family. We enjoyed long summers on the river rafting, splashing around in Brookings, and camping at every opportunity. I moved up to Corvallis, where I earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Health and Human Science at OSU. After I finished my undergrad in Human Services, I transitioned to Portland to earn my master's degree from George Fox. I taught for nearly ten years in Washington County before moving on after my husband and I welcomed our third daughter. In March 2020, right as the pandemic was kicking off, the stars were aligning on my next professional venture. I feel so fortunate to use my background in social services and education, working with families, helping them solve what can often be complex situations, and supporting their decision-making process. I keep mostly out of sight and love a good spreadsheet! You may not see me in person, but you'll probably talk to me on the phone while I assist our other advisors, who are working hard to provide the absolute best service to our community.

I was born and raised in Southern Oregon. Growing up, my family and I loved spending time outside camping, swimming, and going to the river, and we always enjoyed getting together with extended family. I moved to Corvallis after high school, where I earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Human Development and Family Science at Oregon State University. Before settling into a career, my friends and I traveled through Europe and made some incredible memories. In 2007 I made the move to Portland, where I worked at a residential treatment facility for children suffering from emotional and physical behavioral issues. After that, I found myself at a child development center working with younger children for several years. My husband and I married in the summer of 2013, and a year later, we welcomed our first son. I was lucky enough to stay at home with my two sons until they were both in school. Now that my second son is in 1st grade, I am grateful to be joining the Portland Metro Oasis Senior Advisors Team and getting my feet wet in the working world again! I am excited to help navigate and work through the decision-making process with families trying to find the right place for their loved ones. I truly look forward to putting my degree in social services to work helping those in the community.
