At Oasis, our core principles guide the way we operate and interact with others every day:
Mike B. - Marion, MassachusettsOh my goodness! I am so glad my mom found Jim Monti! He was able to talk to my mom to get a really good idea of what she wanted before researching the options. Then he took to my mom for a tour of several of the assisted living options he thought would fit best. After thinking about it for a night, my mom ended up choosing the first option she saw. Jim then helped her through the transition with suggestions on people who could help on the packing, moving, and more (and those suggestions were really good). I wish I could have done more to help but with my living out of state and with Jim’s level of knowledge on her options, I’m so glad my mom had their help. I don’t think I could have found such good options (on where to live) so quickly and I’m sure I couldn’t have made this transition as smooth. My mom said that Jim was superhelpful and as nice as could be. She said he often brought flowers for her – which I know brightened her day. It appears to me that Jim is really good at spotting opportunities to help and make a transition smooth and when he does, he jumps at the chance. I can’t say enough about how much my mom and I both appreciate what Jim did to help – but I will try. Thank you so much Jim Monti!!
Heidi - Sandwich, MassachusettsThere are no words to express how thankful I am to Jim Monti for making this process easier for me as I placed my mother into assisted living/memory care. He made the appointments, was well-versed in what questions to ask, addressed all my concerns in a timely manner, but most importantly was truly compassionate through this very emotional experience. I would highly recommend Jim and his company to anyone navigating these decisions. Thanks Jim! You’re the best!
Cherly T. - Plymouth, MAWe needed to find a place for a family member and were at our wits end trying to find someone to help us find a facility where he was safe and around more of a community setting. We were directed to Jim Monti of Oasis Senior Advisors of Plymouth, Cape Cod and the Southcoast. I could write paragraphs on how professional ,knowledgeable helpful ,respectful and accomodating he was was for my children and our family all throughout the process. Jim took the time to sit and speak with us and most importantly get to know the likes ,dislikes and routine day to day needs for “Dan”. He searched for and found what became the perfect match for Dan. So dedicated was he to us that he even played with our Grandchildren when we were setting everything up at the facility. He called and checked on us the weekend we were moving in., even though he was out of town. To say that Jim Monti went above and beyond is an understatement….truly. I and my family highly recommend Jim Monti for your Senior housing needs
Carey Dobson - Hyannis, MAJim was an integral part of transitioning one of our medically compromised senior SRO residents to Whalers Cove Assisted Living in New Bedford. Jim met with the Veteran many times, even after hours and on weekends at the rehab facility the Veteran was at for nearly three months. Jim worked vigorously in finding an appropriate and dignified facility for this Veteran to transition to. Jim advocated for this veteran and always treated him as if he was a family member, not just a customer. Jim drove the Veteran to the facility and even helped him move in and set up his new apartment. At every single step in the process, Jim advocated for the Veteran and his well being. Jim has not only worked with the Veteran that was placed at Whalers Cove, but has also met with two of our other Senior SRO residents to discuss their goals and wishes if they need a higher level of care in the future. His extensive knowledge with insurance, Adult Foster Care and VA benefits regarding senior care helped circumvent possible red tape that could have delayed placement even further. I truly believe that without Jim and Oasis, the veteran in our program would not have landed in a better spot. Thank you, Jim and the staff at Oasis, for all of your hard work and dedication.
Chris M. - Sandwich, MassachusettsJim was extremely helpful for our situation and incredibly prompt in every interaction. He went above and beyond for our family
Mary Beth - Dartmouth, MassachusettsOasis Senior Advisors was a terrific help and resource in finding the “perfect” new home for our parents. Jim Monti, in particular was very kind, easy to work with and so knowledgeable, he helped guide us through a confusing and busy time. on his advice, we were able to involve our parents in tours and meetings, so they could be a part of this process. We decided on the “Residences at Cedar Dell” in Dartmouth, which was one of Jim’s recommendations. We couldn’t be happier, they love the community there, the facility is beautiful, clean and very well taken care of. The staff are competent, attentive and kind. They have 24 hour care, a great nursing staff, many fun activities and the food is fantastic! My siblings and I feel such relief knowing that mom & dad are not only safe but actually in an environment they can thrive in, at 91 it seemed a difficult transition but Jim and the folks at Cedar Dell have helped to make it seamless. Thank you Jim and Oasis for all of your help, working with you really eased some of the burden.

Owner
Hello and welcome! My name is Jim Monti, the Principal and Owner of Oasis Senior Advisors covering Plymouth, Cape Cod, the Southcoast, and the surrounding areas. My passion has always been to help and serve others which is what has driven me to own the regional footprint of Oasis. With more than 35 years working in Corporate America, I attribute my professional journey and successes to a common thread of listening intently, caring about people’s needs, and finding the right solution.
I’ve owned Oasis Senior Advisors—Plymouth, Cape Cod & Southcoast with my partner, Tina, going on 4 years. Together, we bring several decades of experience in serving others to the benefit of our Oasis clients. In my commitment to devote my business acumen and life experiences to the families I serve. I genuinely enjoy helping seniors and their families find the very best living options.
I am also one of thirteen children born and raised in South Shore in the town of Braintree. My upbringing with a family so large was led by my parents, Joe and Mary Monti who instilled in us that hard work, strong family values, teamwork, care, respectfulness, and compassion for all – will always serve you right. These family values expanded to our community—whether through volunteerism, raising awareness, or resources within a variety of groups—church, seniors, disabled, brain-injured, or those less fortunate. I’d like to think I have helped instill these same values in my four daughters who are also involved in their communities and seek to also give back and make a difference. I try to lead by example, engaging in community efforts not only where I live in Plymouth but throughout the Oasis service area of the Southcoast and Cape Cod.
Certifications:
I found it incredibly important to take the time to be as trained as I could in areas related to my work. To that end, I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree in business administration and most recently, became a Certified Senior Advisor and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. These certifications have immensely impacted my ability to understand the evolving needs of seniors, their families’ needs, and how best to manage challenging circumstances—and very often at critical times of their lives.
Community:
Having learned from an early age just how valuable giving back is, I continue to work with many charitable groups, such as the Alzheimer's Family Support Center (Volunteer), Southcoast Hospital Ambassadors (Board Member), Cape Cod Senior Resource Group (President), Plymouth County Outreach, Bristol Networking Group, Plymouth Networking Group (Board Member), Southeastern Mass Alzheimer’s Partnership (Volunteer), and several other local organizations. I am particularly devoted to serving Veterans as an active member of Operation Flags for Veterans, the Jared C. Monti Charitable Foundation – (Medal of Honor Recipient 2009) in honor of my nephew who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation. Recently, I was recognized by the Cape and Islands Veteran’s Outreach Center for my service and support of local veterans.
Lastly, I am proud to have been awarded the Oasis Senior Advisors, 2023 Humanitarian of the Year Award. With over 150 franchisees throughout the nation, I am humbled to have been selected for this coveted award.
Marketing and Community Support
Meet Tina Beauchemin! – Marketing and Community Support
Tina grew up in Ohio, one of four kids whose father worked for the railroad. She spent many years working in marketing for printing and biotech firms and as her parents aged, she dedicated her time and resources to helping them. With thirty plus years of marketing experience in various industries, Tina helps ensure that the community we serve is aware of our free service.
As life partners, Tina and I have experienced firsthand the stress that health issues can place on family. Supporting our parents as they aged represented integral and very important parts of our lives. We went through the process of identifying a suitable living arrangement for Tina’s mother as she aged out of safely living at home. With advancing Alzheimer's diagnosis, we knew that she needed a safe, comfortable environment that could provide care beyond what we were capable of providing. The experience showed us just how complex and overwhelming the process can be. There is so much information and many choices. Not to mention all the factors around finance, legal matters, etc.. We knew that there had to be a way for families to be guided and supported. As a result, we decided to dedicate the next chapter of our lives to helping others full-time. This is what led us to take ownership of Oasis Senior Advisors—Plymouth, Cape Cod & Southcoast.
Oasis provides a unique opportunity for us to be a personal resource for families during a difficult and emotional time. We like to consider ourselves resourceful, dedicated, and responsive. We truly care and will do everything it takes to make sure the job is done right.
