“I am here to help”. These words would be scrawled atop the chalkboard in my mother’s special education classrooms every September so that her students would know that in difficult times, someone is looking out for them. My mother’s philosophy was very simple. Help when you can.

When I moved to Long Island 15 years ago to start a career in social services, I never imagined all of the many roads I would travel. After working in multiple roles supporting individuals living with developmental disabilities and their families, I found myself helping older adults understand their health insurance options in Medicare.

After a while, many of my clients would come to me with questions about Assisted Living and other Senior Care Options. I knew that this need was growing and that a lot of people would need help. I am here to help. After spending time in an Assisted Living Community and learning the systems and the structures, I knew that a role as Senior Advisor with OASIS was my best chance to help the most families connect with the solutions that best fit their wants and needs. I am here to help.
