Originally from New Jersey, I went to nursing school to pursue a career in caring for people and giving back. Due to some life pivots, I went into pharmaceutical sales. During my 25-year pharmaceutical career, I relocated to Tampa, Florida, where I currently reside with my three adult children.

In 2011, my mom had a stroke that left her severely disabled and needing round-the-clock care. She and my father needed to be in an assisted living facility immediately! These recently vibrant individuals were now facing life-changing events that they had not prepared for. At that time, I was juggling young children, a demanding career, and making life decisions for my aging parents. I struggled with their financial situation, selling their home, finding an appropriate assisted living facility, and the myriad of things that needed to occur to make this transition happen quickly.

When I learned about Oasis, I thought, 'Wow, where was this 15 years ago?' Having experienced what my parents and I went through, I want to help those in a similar situation and make it easier for them.
