I began my career as an elementary school teacher in 2002. I taught Kindergarten for 10 years and had the privilege of serving so many wonderful families in my school community. After the birth of my 3rd child, I decided to take some time off to be home with my children, and I returned to teaching in 2022.
It was during this time that I began to see many of my friends and colleagues juggling the challenges of caring for their aging parents while also trying to care for their own families. I saw firsthand the difficult decisions that so many families have to make regarding the care of their loved ones. Through my experience as a teacher, I learned valuable lessons about empathy, compassion, and the importance of human connection. I experienced the incredible impact that simple acts of kindness can have on someone’s life, and it motivated me to want to provide this same love and compassion to families and their loved ones during such a difficult and vulnerable time.
Oasis allows me to provide the compassion and support that seniors and their families need during this time of transition. I believe that all seniors deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and I strive to provide them with the resources they need to maintain a high quality of life.
