Hi! My name is Molly McManus, and I am a proud Senior Living Advisor. I have lived my entire life in the Southeast Detroit Suburbs. I come from a very large family and know the importance of having a place where you and your loved ones feel safe and comfortable when care and healing are needed. I thrive supporting others, multi-tasking problem solving and finding solutions that are the right fit. I welcome the opportunity to work with your family and help navigate the next steps.

A little about me: I love entertaining, yoga, music, and time with family and friends. My husband and I have two teenagers and a loveable, friendly yellow lab. We enjoy a pontoon ride on the lake, a good song around the campfire, or a picnic at the beach. We also love to travel, watch Detroit Sports, attend our family events, or just relax in the backyard.

I find joy in helping and caring for others, and I welcome any time I can help you provide your loved ones with the proper care and fit they need.

Hi! My name is Monica Lakher and I have been a physical therapist for a little over four years. While I began my career in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, I soon transitioned to working in subacute rehabilitation and long term care facilities. I have loved working with the geriatric population and finding ways to improve their quality of life and maximize their independence. A significant portion of my job focused on determining where patients would be most safe to live after discharge and coordinating this decision with social workers and the patient’s families. As such, I have an in-depth knowledge of the challenges that families face during this difficult time. While I loved working as a physical therapist in this setting, I am so excited to use the skills I’ve learned and apply them to helping your loved ones transition into their new homes.

When I am not at work, I love spending time with my fiance, Max, and my sweet dog, Nora, who both love to go on long walks with me or hang out on the couch while I read a book.

I am Marcia Swain and I am proud to say that I work in the senior living space and strive every day to help families navigate all of the resources and options that are available to them. I know firsthand how overwhelming the process can be and I want to offer practical, timely and compassionate information and insights that result in the best solution. I have been active in senior living placement and home health for 7 years.

I have lived in Oakland County for 30 years and love walking through my neighborhood and our downtown and checking out new restaurants in our area with my husband. We have two grown children who we thankfully get to see often and we are planning to add a new puppy to our family soon.

Hello. My name is Valerie Bennett, and I am a proud Senior Living Advisor. I was born and raised in southeast Michigan, where most of my family still lives today. I have been blessed with 3 beautiful children, ranging from 6 to 17 years old. In my free time, I love boating with my pup Remy, traveling, and watching our children play sports. 

Falling into senior placement was a new career choice for me, but I absolutely love what it all has to offer. I have been blessed to help families place loved ones in communities they can call home. Making the transition from a rehab or even a lifelong home with a ton of memories is a struggle for most, but building that relationship with families is what I truly love to do. 

Visiting families well after placement to see how well they have adjusted will always hold a very special place in my heart as well as theirs. I can’t wait to work with you and your family to transition them into their new home.

Hi! My name is Joan Cullen, and I am delighted to be a Senior Living Advisor. 

I am new to the senior health industry but have personally experienced researching and placing my own father in independent living six years ago and then, a year ago, moving him to Assisted Living due to a fall. I know how overwhelming this transition can be. I look forward to meeting you and your families and helping you find the right senior living solution.

On a personal note, I have lived in Michigan and Oakland County for more than 30 years and enjoy golf, travel, and spending time with my husband, three children, and our dog Brady. 

I was born and raised in Michigan, and I’m proud to call this state home with my wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters, and our dog, Sophie. With a strong background in Hospitality and Customer Service, I’ve always been driven by a passion for helping others, which led me to my role at Oasis Senior Advisors.

My commitment to this work is deeply personal. When my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, our family faced the overwhelming task of finding the right care for her. The emotional strain and sheer number of options made the process even more challenging. If we had a resource like Oasis Senior Advisors at that time, I know it would have brought us peace of mind and confidence in our decisions, ensuring my grandmother’s care needs, location preferences, and budget were met.

It’s because of this experience that I’m so dedicated to helping other families through similar challenges. I believe in the mission of Oasis Senior Advisors and am honored to help make the decision-making process easier for families in need.
