I have enjoyed working the last twenty-three years in Northeast Florida assisting individuals, families and caregivers with home and community base resource options to maintain independence, safety, and support. My diverse professional background in the medical, social work and rehabilitation field allows me to focus on the best care for individual’s as they age in place. I was born in Kansas, grew up in Northern Kentucky and have been living with my husband and raising our four children in Amelia Island Florida since 2001.

My personal experience caring for my grandmother with Alzheimer’s and grandfather with Parkinson’s created a foundation for me to connect others with not just resources but hope. Aging does not have to be a lonely or stressful process. I am here to personalize options, support your needs and passionately guide you one step at a time.

While attending FSU, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in rehabilitative services, one of my favorite jobs was working in the activities department in a memory care unit. I enjoyed figuring out what made each resident happy, and then helping them enjoy each moment. After college, I worked at a private club for 10 years as a membership manager, and I loved the relationships I built with the members. After my second child was born, it was an easy decision to stop working and enjoy my children. Around that time, my grandparents moved to Florida. It was such a gift to spend quality time with them and help them in a caregiving role. This left me with such a love, appreciation for, and understanding of older adults. I was blessed to be with them as they aged and moved from independent living to assisted living, and two of them to a memory care facility. Finding the right facility is everything. We were very happy with our selections, and I want to help you make the right decision as well. Now that my children are independent teenagers, I am ready to go back to work. I want to combine my appreciation for older adults and my strong desire for everyone to be in their perfect home, with my determined skills to make it so. It’s not just about a job, but a passion for helping people and developing relationships. I am eager to give families peace of mind during this overwhelming process. You can trust that I will work hard to find you the best home for your loved one, with the right needs and desires for them. I am very excited to join David and Melanie’s Oasis team in Jacksonville. My lovely wife, Carol Goldberg Doyle, CSA and myself are excited about the Oasis Senior Advisor opportunity and helping our seniors and families find the right place they can be proud to call home. Originally from Philadelphia and then, Connecticut; I have always had a passion to help others. Initially a high school teacher specializing in helping disadvantaged students. Later, I became passionate about helping businesses grow through the thrill of selling creative packaging and printing, helping companies and organizations get their message out to their clients and prospects.Fast forward, 12 years ago, my wife and I moved to Jacksonville to support her parents who needed a lot of extra attention…we had an opportunity to have 9 wonderful additional years with them until they passed. Seniors from that experience have been my passion, from Director of Care for a home care agency, VP of Business Development of a major seniors guide publishing company and now Oasis Seniors Advisors; completing my full circle of helping people.

Prior to joining Oasis Senior Advisors, Pamela Ducas has held leadership positions in both the corporate and non-profit sectors with a focus on revenue growth, customer satisfaction and community engagement. Most recently, Pamela and her spouse acquired an established small business that helps seniors preserve their memories on old media via digital transfer. Pamela served as Chief Memory Maker and enjoyed the opportunity to build relationships and consult with seniors and their families.  She earned an MBA from Southeastern University and a Digital Marketing Professional Certificate from the University of Vermont.  Pamela and her husband live in St. Johns, Florida, and care for their three rescued furry friends.

Having held leadership positions and served on many non-profit organizations, I enngage people, seek to understand their individual needs and demonstrate compassion and empathy when helping others. I am passionate about my family and the importance of being there for eachother. After my father passed in my early 20's, I watched my mother go through all the seasons of her life and ultimately a fall resulting in a long term care facility. That experience, along with my past experience as a Care Manager in a short term-long term care facility, connects me to the struggles families might face during this process.
