Serving my community here in West Michigan has been my passion, and acting as the President and Principal of Oasis Senior Advisors is the best way I know to continue that effort. With over 25 years of experience in retail marketing, I found myself drawn to serving our community in many ways. I've dedicated myself to community service as a Trustee of the St. Mary's Foundation at Trinity Health, a Board Member of Helping Hands food pantry, a Cabinet Member of the Hauenstein Center at Grand Valley State University, a Member of the Council on Aging, and a Leader of the Senior Care Coalition and Senior Advocacy Council.

My journey in these roles has allowed me to find a niche in helping our Grand Rapids residents navigate the senior care services industry. At Oasis Senior Advisors, I find joy in assisting families here in West Michigan, helping them make the best possible choices when their need arises. Cameron Jensen has worked as a patient care technician in Adult Foster Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Hospital settings. Over the years, he has learned the importance of patient-centered care and developed an understanding of how important the staff's role is in making a community a comfortable place to live. By working firsthand with patients and residents, Cam understands some of the intimate daily needs. He has always enjoyed helping others and is excited to use his experience in patient care to help find you and your loved ones a place to call home. Making a life-changing decision, such as senior living, can be difficult for you and your loved one. Cam is available to help and offer knowledge in senior care navigation to help you or your loved one(s) make the right decisions with senior living.

Cindy McGarry started her journey in senior care by providing care for her mother for 14 years. Her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 4 months after her father died. Cindy knows personally what hurdles and challenges families face. During that time, she learned a lot, and what she learned did not come easy, it was overwhelming and a very emotional experience. For the last 5 years, Cindy has spent time with a private duty provider and developed a deep knowledge of the senior care resources available. She consulted families, guiding them as they navigated the best options for their loved one's circumstances. She is understanding and empathetic. Cindy has finally found her true vocation, serving seniors and their families. Little did she know at the time that her life experience with her mother was an example of what she should have been doing her whole life. Cindy looks forward to being a source to individuals seeking alternatives as they navigate life's changes.

Charity joins Oasis Senior Advisors as a Registered Nurse and Business Administrator with over 25 years of consecutive experience in the healthcare industry. Her extensive background and unwavering dedication to helping seniors and their families make her a perfect fit for our team.

Much of Charity’s illustrious career has been dedicated to the senior living sector, where she has tirelessly worked with senior populations to help them live their best lives. Her expertise in senior living operations provides the perspective that many families need when navigating the complexities of senior care. Charity’s vast experience allows her to know what questions to ask, what details matter most, and how to best capture and create a personalized plan for your senior’s future endeavors.

Charity also brings a solid background in community resources and programs, as well as fiscal management. She is a hands-on advocate and a lifelong learner who works tirelessly for her clients and their families. As a results-driven, honest, and transparent professional, Charity believes in the value of a handshake and the importance of keeping one’s word. Her servant spirit and commitment to giving back to others in need are truly inspiring.

Rima Hourani comes to Oasis Senior Advisors with a heart for service and a passion for helping others. With over 15 years of experience working in the healthcare field, spending time volunteering and serving the community, her passion for helping others has never wavered. Rima looks for opportunities to utilize her experiences to ensure people receive the best quality of care while also maintaining their independence. Her goal is to work with community members and their families to ensure and improve their quality of life by connecting them to the resources they need.
