I started Oasis Senior Advisors in 2018 after my hospice tenure and as an assisted living community executive director. Professionally, I realized the necessity for guidance and support families need when trying to navigate care options for their senior loved ones. I also understood on a personal level as I was the main caregiver for my grandparents. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and eventually passed after 8 years. My grandfather, unable to maintain his home on his own, moved in with me shortly after and I remained his sole caregiver for nearly 11 years. He was my rock and inspiration to work with the senior population.
My husband, Jason, was my biggest cheerleader when starting Oasis and would attend Oasis conventions with me over the years. He became a part of the Oasis family. In 2023, we decided to make Oasis a family business, so he officially joined the team. Prior to this, Jason served in sales and management roles in the customer service industry for over 20 years. Together, we manage day to day operations while serving seniors and families with our motto, “Let our family help your family”. We work with clients to help meet their goals, reduce time, and stress, and provide extensive information for them to make a well-informed decision about senior care and senior living options. Life transitions can be difficult, but with the right support, they can be a positive time by maintaining dignity and promoting quality of life.
Our blended family includes two sons, a daughter, and five dogs. In our leisure time, we enjoy playing cornhole with friends, fireside chats, traveling as much as possible, and enjoying sporting events. Although we don’t share the same love for football teams, (I’m a Dallas fan and he’s a Commander’s fan), we do share a love for the Baltimore Orioles!
