Katherine and I enjoy living in urban Cincinnati and appreciate the cultural and local amenities our lovely Queen City has to offer. Having extended family in the area and being involved in local and church communities give us deep roots here.

Our combined professional experience in healthcare, law, teaching, parish and overseas ministry, and hospital chaplaincy has been focused on providing compassionate service and care in varied contexts. The challenges Katherine's family encountered as their mother faced Alzheimer's disease made us keenly aware of the need for assistance and guidance for seniors and their families in times of transition.

As Oasis Senior Advisors, we desire to be knowledgeable resources and caring guides to seniors and their families in identifying their needs and matching them with their ideal assisted living community. Although born in Cleveland, OH, I was raised in Germany by parents who served in ministry, so the desire to serve is something that was instilled in me at a young age. I relocated to Cincinnati, OH, in 2019 with my daughter, where we enjoy anything outdoors — hiking, biking, playgrounds, and everyday little “adventures” like discovering the best spots for popcorn or frozen yogurt. I have been in the health and wellness industry for almost 10 years serving in roles ranging from yoga therapy instructor to health coach to studio manager. Making the transition to senior care was something that became of interest to me when my parents began their own Oasis franchise. I feel that the elderly is an often overlooked and vulnerable population that is underserved. Having the opportunity to not only serve seniors but also provide help and guidance to families who are trying to navigate an overwhelming process that is often emotionally charged is a privilege. I do not take this opportunity or the trust of my clients lightly, and I do my best to approach each person with empathy and compassion. It's my highest priority to provide the care and maintain the dignity and quality of life our seniors deserve.

I am a native Ohioan, born and raised in Fairfield, where I currently reside with my beautiful family. My wife works as a critical care RN, my daughter enjoys kindergarten and dancing, and my son stays busy believing he is a real superhero. In 2009, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Allied Health and spent four years as a collegiate gymnast. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my extended family and friends, being active outdoors, and attending/watching my Buckeyes every Saturday.

My passion for the elderly started early on with the deep bonds created with my grandparents. This led me to a 15-year career in the skilled nursing and home healthcare industries. In my past experiences, I've witnessed first-hand the hardships and challenges that our geriatric population endure. I am pleased to be a team member at Oasis Senior Advisors Cincinnati, where I can fulfill my passion for helping others and supporting senior citizens.
