My passion for senior advocacy began over 25 years ago when caring for my aging grandmother. As the years went on, I've learned how our healthcare and financial systems are broken for older adults. This realization has led me to be extremely vocal in advocating for the rights and dignity of seniors. After spending many years in the marketing field (much of that time within healthcare), I'm proud and delighted to turn the above passion into my life's work.  

It is a distinct privilege to help our older adults and their families find safe and suitable senior living options. Many years ago, when I was searching for a community for my father, it seemed that for every answer I found, many more questions came up. I'm extremely humbled and proud to help families navigate the road to senior living, connect them with resources, and ensure their loved ones can continue to thrive.  

I've been a resident of Lake County for almost 20 years, and I absolutely love our community. It's been a blessing to help families in our area find the right solutions while helping minimize stress. If I can help in any way, please feel free to reach out.  

I am a lifelong resident of the northern Chicago suburbs, raised in Deerfield and currently living in Libertyville with my husband and two teenagers. I love being active with my family which includes travel, bike riding, kayaking, and taking long walks in the beautiful forest preserves near us. I am also very active in my church and happily volunteer a lot there.

I’ve spent 30 years in marketing in a big corporate environment. It was satisfying for a long time, and I developed many skill sets, most importantly my ability to connect with people and provide guidance in complex situations. After witnessing the devastating effects of dementia with my father and then providing support and care for my mother as she declined and passed, I realized that working with the elderly in the effort to help improve quality of life was a passion and a calling of mine. I have observed friends and colleagues go through the stress and emotional trauma that one faces when they suddenly find themselves having to be the caregivers and decision makers for their parents. To me, Oasis Senior Advisors provides a win/win scenario for everyone involved by giving support to the ones who most need it, the seniors and their families, without charging for our services.
