Brookdale Middleton Stonefield provides a dedicated memory-care environment equipped to manage residents living with all stages of dementia, including advanced conditions. The community admits individuals who wander at any time of day, attempt elopement, exhibit combative or complex behavioral issues, or stay awake through the night. Clinical supports cover oxygen therapy, special or therapeutic diets, and diabetes care for both oral medications and insulin injections. Residents younger than 60 who require memory care are also accepted.
Licensed nurses are on site every day, with an RN or LPN present and a nurse on call around the clock. All employees pass background checks, and an awake night shift monitors door-alarmed exits and responds promptly to pull-cord alerts. Staff can give full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and will perform transfers ranging from standby supervision to two-person or Hoyer-lift moves for bed-bound residents. On-site podiatry visits and activity programs directed by a full-time activity director round out the clinical and therapeutic support.
Apartments vary in layout; some include a private bathroom, basic furnishings, and permission to paint or decorate, while others do not have every listed feature. Prospective residents should verify unit specifics during a tour.
Dining includes scheduled meals from a set menu along with on-order alternatives at each sitting. Snacks are available throughout the day, and the kitchen team works closely with nursing staff to accommodate texture-modified meals, carbohydrate-controlled plans, and other physician-ordered diet modifications.
The campus is fully wheelchair accessible and offers resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, communal gardens, an on-site barber and beauty shop, and regular religious services. Public transportation is close by for visiting families. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
