Private and companion suites come in several layouts, and not every floor plan includes every feature on the list. Select apartments offer a balcony, terrace, or patio, and many have kitchenettes and independent temperature controls. Wi-Fi, cable or satellite TV, and air conditioning are standard in most units, and wheelchair-accessible showers are available in designated rooms. Common areas include a central fireplace, piano or organ, outdoor decks, and resident parking, with housekeeping handled by staff. Pets are welcome in approved residences.

Dining is available three ways: made-to-order, set menu, or delivered in-room when necessary. The kitchen accommodates diet modifications, including low-sodium, no-sugar, and other physician-ordered plans. Guests can purchase meals, and all residents have access to snacks and beverages throughout the day.

Residents can spend free time in the activity center, library and computer lounge, or along the indoor walking paths before moving outdoors to raised garden beds and other permitted areas. A regular calendar features birthday parties, live music, and scheduled social outings into Hillsboro and neighboring towns.
