Paramount Senior Living at Cabell-Midland offers three levels of residential care—Independent Living for older adults who want a maintenance-free lifestyle, Assisted Living for residents who need routine help with daily tasks, and a dedicated Memory Care neighborhood tailored to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Each program is designed to let residents age in place, so a change in health status does not necessarily require a move to another community.
The building is a secured community, which adds an extra layer of safety, especially for residents in Memory Care. Clinical oversight includes diabetes monitoring and management, in-house incontinence support, assistance with ambulation, and coordinated medication management. Licensed staff are on site around the clock, and visiting professionals supplement routine care so residents receive prompt attention when needs arise.
Apartments are climate controlled, and many offer access to outdoor areas and on-site parking; however, individual units vary, and not every accommodation features all options. Residents can choose floor plans suited to their mobility, privacy, and budget preferences, and maintenance and housekeeping services are provided.
Dining services supply three daily meals plus snacks, with menus that can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, low- or no-sodium, and no-sugar diets. Guests are welcome to join residents for meals, and clinical staff coordinate with the kitchen to ensure that dietary restrictions or physician-ordered modifications are followed accurately.
Daily life is supported by an activity center, clubs and hobby groups, sensory-based programs, birthday celebrations, a library and computer lounge, scheduled social outings, and seasonal use of an on-site swimming pool. These offerings give residents structured and informal opportunities to remain active, learn new skills, and maintain social connections without leaving the grounds unless they choose to do so.
