Hilltop Center operates as a skilled nursing facility, providing 24-hour licensed nursing care for residents who need ongoing clinical oversight. The center accepts both long-term stays and short-term respite stays, giving families flexibility when they need temporary relief or transitional care after a hospitalization. An on-site physical therapy team works with residents as ordered by their physicians, helping them regain or maintain mobility through individualized treatment plans delivered in a dedicated therapy space.
Beyond these core services, Hilltop Center maintains individualized care plans that are reviewed regularly by an interdisciplinary team. Staff handle medication administration, wound management, and coordination with outside specialists or hospitals when further medical services are required. The building is equipped with emergency call systems, and caregivers monitor residents’ status around the clock to respond promptly to changes in condition.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, most with central air conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet access, and a phone line, while some also feature outdoor sitting areas. Housekeeping is provided, and select rooms accommodate small pets for residents who meet community guidelines. Because layouts vary, not every accommodation includes every feature listed.
Meals are prepared on-site and served in common dining areas three times a day. A café with an always-available menu gives residents additional options outside of scheduled meal times, and staff can adjust textures or portions to meet physician-ordered dietary requirements. Guest meals can be arranged with notice.
Residents have access to a library and computer lounge where they can read, go online, or video chat with family. An activity center hosts regularly scheduled events such as exercise groups, crafts, and social gatherings, supporting cognitive engagement and social interaction throughout the week.
