Columbia Ridge Senior Living offers an Assisted Living program that can be tailored to residents who use supplemental oxygen, are under 60, or manage diabetes with oral medication. The community can also accommodate individuals living with mild dementia. Routine clinical oversight is supplied through 12–16 hours of on-site nursing coverage each day, and residents have access to medication management, hospice coordination, incontinence and ambulatory care, as well as on-site occupational therapy, physical therapy, and podiatry services.
Additional safeguards include an RN or LPN on staff, a nurse on duty around the clock, background-checked personnel, and an awake night shift. Residents can activate help through pull cords or personal emergency response pendants, and the building remains staffed and secured 24/7, with a fenced rear area for added safety. Caregivers provide standby supervision for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and can assist with walkers, wheelchairs, one-person transfers, or basic standby support. An activity director coordinates daily programming, and the property is equipped to continue services for memory care and pet-focused therapy if a resident’s needs change.
Accommodation options may include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, and cable access, and residents are generally welcome to paint or decorate their space. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided, but not every suite contains every listed feature, so it is advisable to confirm availability during a tour.
Meals are served from a set menu that can be adjusted for physician-ordered diets or personal preferences. Snacks are available throughout the day, and residents can arrange for in-room dining when desired. A private dining room is also offered for family gatherings or special occasions.
Amenities include resident parking, exterior smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, movie room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, library, and various special-interest clubs. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. The community assesses a one-time community fee, offers pendants for emergency alerts, accommodates a second occupant, and arranges transportation for medical appointments and local errands.
