Aegis of Shoreline offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care, allowing residents to move between levels of support without relocating. The community is equipped to manage advanced dementia conditions and provides specific medical oversight for residents who are up all night, require oxygen, follow special diets, or take diabetic oral medications or sliding-scale insulin.
Around-the-clock clinical coverage includes RNs or LPNs on staff, an awake night shift, and continuous security with staff on site at all hours. A dedicated activity director coordinates daily programming, while in-room pull cords and personal emergency response systems alert caregivers instantly. On-site podiatry visits reduce the need for outside appointments. Caregivers can provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they are trained in a wide range of mobility support, from standby help with a walker to one-person, two-person, and mechanical Hoyer transfers.
Studio and one-bedroom suites are available; some include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, and cable service, though these features vary by unit. Housekeeping and maintenance are provided, and residents can personalize their living space within community guidelines.
Dining is made to order, with meals prepared to individual preferences and dietary requirements. Snacks are available throughout the day, and the culinary team can accommodate physician-ordered diet modifications or management plans.
Amenities include resident parking, an exercise room, movie room, barber and beauty shop, and communal gardens, along with scheduled transportation for errands and appointments. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
