University House Wallingford offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living. Team members are equipped to give some physical assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they can accommodate mobility needs ranging from standby help to one-person transfers for residents who use walkers or wheelchairs. Apartments are designed for comfort and practicality. Floor plans may include a kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable hookup, and the option for residents to paint or decorate to their preference, though not every unit has every one of these features. Maintenance, utilities, and routine housekeeping are handled by staff, allowing residents to focus on daily routines and community life.
Dining is flexible, with made-to-order meals served in a communal setting, snacks available throughout the day, and the kitchen able to honor physician-ordered diet modifications and personal preferences.
