Aegis Living Madison offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, allowing residents to remain on one campus as needs change. The community can accommodate individuals who wander during the day or night, present exit-seeking behaviors, experience combative or other challenging behaviors, stay awake throughout the night, require wound care or oxygen management, follow special diets, or are younger than 60. Diabetic care ranges from oral medications to injections and sliding-scale insulin. The team is also prepared to support residents living with advanced dementia, including those at risk for elopement.

Clinical oversight is provided by an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse is on-site 24 hours a day. Caregivers remain awake overnight, and the building is staffed and secured around the clock. Residents have access to a pull-cord system and personal emergency response pendants that alert staff. On-site podiatry visits reduce the need for outside appointments. Assistance with activities of daily living can extend to full help with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from standby help for walkers to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers for bed-bound residents.

Accommodations vary by floor plan and may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate the space. Not every apartment includes every feature, so families should confirm specific details during a tour.

Meals are prepared to order, and snacks are available throughout the day. The dining team can modify textures, manage carbohydrate counts, limit sodium, or honor other physician-directed diet plans to align with the medical support residents receive.

Community amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, and wellness center. Internet access is provided, and scheduled transportation is available; the building is also close to public transit for families who prefer to visit by bus or light rail. Pets are allowed.
