Park Vista by Bonaventure offers three levels of residency—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so residents can choose the amount of day-to-day support they need. The community is equipped to work with complex medical profiles, including residents who wander at any time of day, exhibit behavioral issues, stay up all night, require wound care, use oxygen, follow special diets, are under 60, or live with diabetes managed by oral medication or injections. Its Memory Care program supports advanced dementia, allowing residents to remain on campus even as needs progress.
Registered nurses or licensed practical nurses are on staff, with a nurse on call 24 hours a day, and every employee undergoes background checks. Caregivers remain awake on the night shift, and the building is secured around the clock with door alarms. Residents have access to visiting podiatry, audiology, and dental providers, reducing the need for off-site appointments. Staff can offer full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they are trained in multiple transfer techniques, from standby help to one-person wheelchair or walker transfers.
Apartments are available in several layouts; some include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, in-unit laundry, and housekeeping, while others offer shared or scheduled services, so specific features vary by unit. Weekly housekeeping and linen service are standard, and scheduled laundry is offered when an apartment lacks its own machines. Independent Living residents receive the same maintenance-free environment plus weekly housekeeping, laundry for IL, and an optional monthly meal plan.
Meals are served restaurant style from either a set menu or an on-order menu, with snacks available throughout the day. Residents may choose to dine in the main dining room, in a private dining space with family, or in their own apartments. Therapeutic diets are accommodated, including gluten-free, mechanical-chopped, puréed, and thickened-liquid plans, as well as physician-ordered modifications for diabetes and other medical conditions.
Resident amenities include on-site parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty salon, exercise room, movie room, internet access, communal gardens, a library, special-interest clubs, and regularly scheduled religious services. Transportation options cover a community shuttle for medical appointments and proximity to public transit. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
