The team is trained to address common memory-related challenges such as wandering—day or night—elopement risk, behavioral issues, and sleep disturbances. Medical oversight extends to wound care, oxygen management, special diets, and diabetic care whether on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Residents under 60 who need memory care are also accepted, and the community can coordinate on-site podiatry as well as services for psychiatric diagnoses.

Registered or licensed nurses are on staff, with an on-call nurse available 24 hours. All caregivers undergo background checks, work awake night shifts, and respond quickly through resident pull-cord systems. The building is secured with 24-hour staffing, fenced front and rear areas, and monitored entrances. Full assistance is offered for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer capabilities range from standby help with a walker to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers for bed-bound residents, ensuring that changing mobility needs can be met without relocation.

Private and semi-private rooms may feature their own bathrooms, independent temperature controls, cable service, and options to paint or decorate—though not every room includes every feature. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are provided so residents can focus on daily life rather than chores.

Meals are prepared by the culinary staff and offered through both a set menu and on-order choices, with snacks available throughout the day. Specialized diets, mechanically chopped meals, purees, thickened liquids, vegetarian options, and other physician-ordered modifications are routinely accommodated. Residents may dine in a communal setting, reserve the private dining room for family gatherings, or request in-room meal service when preferred or medically necessary.

The community includes wheelchair-accessible common areas, a movie room, wellness center, internet access, and landscaped communal gardens. Scheduled transportation covers medical appointments, and the property’s location near public transit offers an additional travel option for families and visitors.
