Hawa & Fanta's Adult Family Home is a residential care home that accepts residents with a wide range of medical needs, including advanced dementia conditions. The team is prepared to manage residents who wander during the day or night, are at risk of elopement, have combative or other behavioral issues, remain awake overnight, require wound care, use oxygen, follow special diets, are under 60 years old, or live with diabetes managed by oral medication, injections, or a sliding scale.

Clinical support is reinforced by a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse on staff and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. Around-the-clock staffing, security personnel, a fenced rear area, door alarms, and a PERS alert system help maintain resident safety. Transfer help ranges from simple standby support and walker assistance to one-person or two-person transfers, full Hoyer lift service, and care for bed-bound individuals.

Private and shared rooms are offered, and residents may furnish their spaces or use provided furniture. Some rooms include cable television, and housekeeping and personal laundry services are available to all residents. Individuals may customize their rooms with personal décor, but not every room includes every listed feature.

Meals are prepared using a set menu, with the option for residents to order alternatives when needed. Snacks are available throughout the day, and staff members manage physician-ordered diets, including diabetic, low-sodium, and other specialized meal plans.
