Brookdale Arbor Place is an assisted-living community that is equipped to handle a wide range of health needs. Residents with behavioral challenges, sleep-wake reversals, chronic wounds, oxygen requirements, special diets, or diabetes—whether controlled by oral medication, injections, or a sliding-scale regimen—can be accommodated. The team is also trained to care for adults under 60 and individuals living with moderate dementia. By focusing on early identification of changes in condition, the staff coordinates with outside providers as needed to keep residents in place whenever possible.
Care delivery is supported by an on-site RN or LPN, an awake night shift, and a nurse available on call around the clock. Pull-cord and personal emergency response systems link directly to 24-hour staff, and security personnel remain on site at all times. A visiting podiatrist handles routine foot care, while the community’s caregivers offer full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to a full Hoyer lift, so residents who use walkers or wheelchairs—or who need a complete transfer—receive the level of support required to move safely through their day.
Residences at Brookdale Arbor Place are designed for flexibility. Some apartments have private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service, and permission to paint or decorate; other floor plans include only a portion of these features, so families can select the setup that fits their budget and preferences. For dining, meals are prepared to order, snacks are available throughout the day, and staff can manage physician-ordered diets such as low-sodium, diabetic, or texture-modified menus.
Independent-living services are also available for residents who need minimal help. Weekly housekeeping, personal laundry, and a monthly meal plan let these individuals maintain autonomy without taking on every household chore.
Community amenities add to daily life. Residents have access to parking, outside smoking areas, and wheelchair-friendly common spaces that include a fireside living room, game room, movie room, library, community kitchen, private dining room, and piano. A barber and beauty shop, exercise room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, and an on-site place of worship round out the offerings. Pets are welcome, and it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Scheduled transportation is available for shopping, medical appointments, and community outings.
