Rosewood Courte provides two levels of long-term care: Residential Care Home and Memory Care. The medical program is built for residents who wander or are at risk for elopement, show combative or other behavioral issues, stay awake through the night, require wound care or oxygen, or follow physician-ordered special diets. Clinical staff manage diabetes for residents on oral medications, insulin injections, or sliding-scale dosing and can admit adults under 60 who need these services. The team is also trained to care for people living with advanced dementia.
Care delivery is supported by a licensed nurse on site 24 hours a day, an awake night shift, and routine security rounds. An activity director coordinates therapeutic programming, and the building is fenced with pull-cord and PERS call systems that route alerts directly to staff. On-site podiatry reduces the need for outside trips. Direct care aides provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they can perform all levels of transfers, from standby help with a walker to two-person or Hoyer lift transfers for bed-bound residents.
Private and semi-private rooms are available; some include a private bathroom, furnished pieces, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate. Because configurations vary, not every room offers every feature, so families should verify specific details during a tour.
Menus operate on an order-as-desired system with snacks available throughout the day. The kitchen staff manages physician-prescribed diet modifications, including diabetic, low-sodium, and texture-adjusted meals, and coordinates with nursing for real-time blood-sugar management.
Community amenities include wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, an on-site wellness center, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
