Cordata Court delivers three levels of care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so residents can remain in the same community even as needs change. The clinical team is prepared for complex conditions: advanced dementia, wandering day or night, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral issues, oxygen therapy, special diets, and diabetes management whether the resident is on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin.
Around-the-clock support is built into daily life. Registered and licensed nurses are on site 24 hours a day and backed by an on-call nurse for added coverage. Night-shift staff remain awake, and the building is staffed and secured at all times with fenced outdoor space, pull-cord alarms, and personal emergency response systems that alert caregivers. A dedicated activity director coordinates programming, and a visiting podiatrist provides on-site foot care. Care aides offer full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and can handle transfers ranging from supervision with a walker to two-person lift for wheelchair users.
Living options include studio and one-bedroom apartments; not all units come with every feature, but choices may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable, and the ability to repaint or decorate. Meals are prepared to order, and the kitchen honors physician-ordered or preference-based diet modifications such as low-sugar, low-sodium, or texture-adjusted menus. Independent Living residents can add medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry service, and a monthly meal plan so they can balance autonomy with convenience.
Residents have access to surface parking, outdoor smoking areas, pet-friendly policies, wheelchair-accessible common rooms, an on-site barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie theater, wellness center, high-speed internet, landscaped communal gardens, and scheduled transportation for appointments and outings. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
