Greenfield Reflections of Woodstock is a dedicated memory care community that supports residents through every stage of cognitive loss, including advanced dementia. Care teams are prepared to manage wandering behaviors, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral issues, and residents who are awake and active through the night. The nursing staff can also handle complex medical needs such as oxygen therapy, special diets, insulin injections with sliding-scale coverage, and other diabetic management, as well as the needs of residents under 60 years old.
Continuous oversight is reinforced by an RN or LPN on site, an on-call nurse available around the clock, and awake night staffing. All employees undergo background checks; exit doors are alarmed and the rear grounds are fenced to reduce elopement risk. Residents use pull cords or personal emergency response systems to summon help. A visiting podiatrist provides routine foot care on site. Direct assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and staff can manage mobility for residents who walk with a cane or walker, need standby help, require one- or two-person transfers, or depend on a Hoyer lift or complete bed care.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, and some include a private bathroom. Residents may personalize their space with paint or decorations, and many rooms are wired for cable. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are provided, though specific services can vary by unit. Temperature controls and safety features are routinely checked.
Dining offers both set menus and on-order selections, with snacks available throughout the day and the option for in-room meal service. The kitchen team accommodates physician-ordered diets, including gluten-free plans, vegetarian meals, mechanical-chopped or pureed textures, and thickened liquids. Certified staff monitor intake for residents who need full assistance at mealtimes.
Common areas are wheelchair accessible, and the community maintains a barber and beauty shop, a movie room, and landscaped communal gardens. Religious services are hosted on site, and scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments only.
