Harmony at Independence delivers three distinct levels of care—Independent Living for residents who are largely self-sufficient, Assisted Living for those who need routine help with daily tasks, and a dedicated Memory Care program structured for individuals experiencing cognitive decline. Medical oversight is anchored by on-site physicians, diabetes management, and regular visits from speech therapists. Additional clinical resources include occupational and physical therapists, a podiatrist, and support for continence, ambulation, and medication management. The Memory Care neighborhood is located in a secured part of the community to help reduce exit-seeking and provide consistent monitoring.
Daily support extends to partial assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and staff can accommodate walkers, wheelchairs, stand-by transfers, or full one-person transfers as needed. Continuous staffing and the secured setting add another layer of safety, while the community’s status as a Memory Care–only environment ensures that programming and staffing ratios are tailored accordingly.
Residences vary in layout and features; some include kitchenettes, decks, or private balconies and patios, while others offer wheelchair-accessible showers or standard baths. All apartments are climate-controlled, and select units are built with handicap-accessible floor plans. Outdoor areas and general parking are available, but not every accommodation offers every listed feature.
Dining centers on a set menu prepared by culinary staff, with entrée choices that account for special medical or nutritional requirements. Residents who prefer privacy or are recovering from illness can request in-room meal service.
Amenities round out daily living with a barber and beauty shop, a movie room, a wellness center, and communal gardens. Residents may also join special-interest clubs that focus on hobbies or educational pursuits. Pets are allowed in designated areas and apartments; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
