First Colonial Inn offers three levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—allowing residents to transition between services as their needs change. Independent Living emphasizes self-managed routines with the security of on-site staff, Assisted Living adds daily support with activities of daily living, and Memory Care delivers structured programming and supervision tailored to cognitive conditions.
A mental wellness program is available to help residents maintain psychological health, and every apartment is linked to an emergency call system that brings staff assistance around the clock. On-site clinical services include 12–16 hours of licensed nursing each day, coordinated medication management, and regular health monitoring. Residents also benefit from scheduled laundry and dry-cleaning service, and the care team works closely with primary physicians to keep personal care plans current.
Accommodation options range from studio and efficiency apartments to larger layouts, some with kitchenettes for light meal preparation. Utilities, cable television, phone service, and Wi-Fi are included in select residences, and outdoor sitting areas, as well as a library and computer lounge, give residents additional places to spend their day. Not all residences include every feature, so prospective residents are encouraged to confirm apartment specifics during a visit.
Chef-prepared meals are served daily, with staff able to adjust menus for dietary restrictions or physician-directed nutrition plans. Residents who enjoy cooking can use in-unit kitchenettes when available, while those who prefer communal dining benefit from scheduled meal times that also support social interaction and oversight for anyone who needs help with eating.
Life at First Colonial Inn is rounded out by clubs and interest groups, an activity center for daily events, structured health and wellness programs, and regular arts and crafts sessions designed to engage both mind and body.
