Bay Lake offers three core levels of support—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—allowing residents to transition between services without leaving the community. Independent Living emphasizes self-sufficiency with optional support, Assisted Living provides help with daily activities and medication reminders, and the Secured Community for Memory Care combines structured routines with safety features designed for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
Clinical oversight extends well beyond routine wellness checks. On-site access includes physician visits, diabetic monitoring, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and podiatry. Staff manage medications, handle incontinence and ambulatory needs, and coordinate hospice care when required. Areas of the building are designed to reduce confusion for residents experiencing memory loss, and the secured layout limits unsafe wandering.
Apartment choices may include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, cable television, and views of outdoor areas, although not every residence offers every feature. Pet-friendly policies, handicap-accessible common areas, designated parking, a central fireplace, and the option for piano or organ use contribute to daily comfort.
Dining follows an all-day service model with chef-prepared meals and the option for guest meals so families can join a loved one. Menus accommodate dietary needs, and staff remain available to assist residents who require help with eating or modified textures.
Recreational spaces and programs include an activity center, library and computer lounge, outdoor walking paths, raised garden beds, a swimming pool, live music, dances, birthday celebrations, happy hours, social outings, and reminiscence sessions tailored for Memory Care.
