Harmony at Harbour View offers three living options—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and a dedicated Memory Care neighborhood. Residents who need routine health monitoring can receive support for special diets and for diabetes managed with oral medications. The community’s Memory Care program focuses on residents with memory loss but is not designed for complex dementia conditions.
The building is secured, and licensed staff manage medications and coordinate care. On-site services include physical, occupational, and ambulatory therapy, podiatry and optometry visits, incontinence management, and hospice coordination. Suites are laid out to reduce confusion and meet the needs of residents with memory impairment. Caregivers can assist with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting when some physical help is necessary, and transfers are accommodated for residents who use a walker or wheelchair or who need standby supervision.
Accommodation options range from studios to larger layouts. Features available in select units include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, private decks or balconies, and air conditioning. Common areas provide a central fireplace, piano or organ, outdoor patios, and on-site parking. Pets are welcome in designated residences, but not every unit includes every feature, so families need to verify specifics during a tour.
Dining follows a set menu with the ability to modify meals for dietary restrictions, including low-sugar options for diabetic residents and physician-ordered special diets. Meals are served restaurant-style, and staff are available to provide cueing or limited physical assistance for residents who need help with eating.
Residents have access to a barber and beauty shop, an exercise room, a movie room, a wellness center, and campus-wide internet access. Pets are allowed. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
