The team is prepared to support residents who wander during the day or night, are at risk for elopement, have behavioral issues, stay awake overnight, need wound care, use oxygen, follow special diets, or are younger than 60. Both oral and injectable diabetic management are available, and staff are trained to work with advanced dementia conditions so residents with complex cognitive challenges can remain on site.

To maintain safety and routine, the building has 24-hour staffing and security, an activity director, and access to a therapy room. On-site podiatry visits and acceptance of psychiatric issues reduce the need for outside appointments. Caregivers can provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to two-person and bed-bound moves, and both walker and wheelchair users are accommodated.

Residences can include a private bathroom, individual climate controls, and the option for residents to paint or decorate their space; however, these features are not present in every unit. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided so daily upkeep remains the staff’s responsibility, not the resident’s.

Meals follow a set menu with snacks available between dining periods. The kitchen manages diet modifications that include gluten-free selections, mechanical chop, puree, thickened liquids, and vegetarian plates, and a private dining room is available for family gatherings or special occasions.
