The Residence at Quarry Hill supports Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care on the same campus, allowing residents to move between levels of care as needs change. Memory Care programming is designed for residents who wander at any time of day, who have a history of elopement, or who live with advanced dementia. Special dietary management is available, and the nursing team can oversee diabetics on oral medications.
Registered and licensed nurses are on staff, backed by a nurse on call 24 hours a day. All employees complete background checks, and the building has awake night-shift staffing, fenced outdoor areas, door alarms, and in-unit pull cords that alert staff. On-site podiatry and audiology clinics reduce the need for outside trips. Staff can provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they can accommodate residents who use walkers, wheelchairs, or need a one-person transfer or standby help. An activity director coordinates daily cognitive, social, and physical programs.
Most apartment layouts include a private bathroom, kitchenette, individual climate controls, cable hookup, and the option to paint or decorate, but not every unit has every feature. Housekeeping is included for all residents. Dining services provide set menus, made-to-order selections, snacks throughout the day, in-room meal delivery, and diet modification or management when ordered by a physician. Independent Living residents receive medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, and a monthly meal plan that allows them to join communal dining on their own schedule.
Residents have access to on-site parking, an exercise room, movie room, wellness center, library, communal gardens, and a barber and beauty shop; internet service is available throughout the building. A concierge helps arrange scheduled transportation, and special-interest clubs give residents additional social outlets. Pets are allowed. It's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
