Brookdale Fillmore Pond offers three levels of residency—Independent Living for self-sufficient adults, Assisted Living for those who need help with daily routines, and a secured Memory Care neighborhood tailored to residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. All residents can transition between these options without leaving the campus, ensuring continuity of care as needs change.
Medical support is extensive. A mental-wellness program, respite stays, diabetes management, and on-site physical, occupational, and ambulatory therapies are available. Nurses are present 12–16 hours a day, backed by hospice and wound-care services when required. Staff receive specialized memory-care training, and medication management is handled on site. Safety measures include an emergency response system in every room, daily check-ins, secured keypad entries, and a sprinkler system.
Apartments range from studios to ground-floor units with full kitchens, wheelchair-accessible showers, and optional washer/dryer hookups. Select residences provide private patios, central air, cable, and Wi-Fi, while others feature convenient kitchenettes. Outdoor walking paths, landscaped courtyards, and surface parking surround the buildings. Because floor plans vary, not every accommodation includes every feature.
Meals are prepared daily with restaurant-style service and an all-day dining option. Menus accommodate low-sodium, vegetarian, kosher, and gluten-free requests, and diet modifications are overseen by staff. Special dining programs, guest meals, and seasonal barbecues or picnics add variety to the set menu.
Residents have use of an activity center, arts and crafts studio, piano lounge, swimming pool, and fitness programs that include yoga and chair yoga. Walking paths, reminiscence groups, lifelong-learning talks, social clubs, and organized day trips provide additional engagement, while birthday celebrations and other community events round out the calendar.
