Carrington Court offers three levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living. Residents who need daily assistance receive help with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, including full-assistance when required. Those living in the Memory Care program benefit from protocols that support advanced dementia and related behaviors such as wandering, elopement risk, or being awake throughout the night. Independent Living residents maintain autonomy but can add medication-management monitoring if needed, ensuring continuity of oversight as care requirements change.
Clinical safeguards back every level of care. A nurse is on call around the clock, and the community keeps an awake night shift supported by door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, and pull-cord or PERS alert systems. Staff undergo background checks, and 24-hour security is on site. On-site podiatry visits and a dedicated therapy room reduce the need for outside appointments. Oxygen management, special diet compliance, and full transfer assistance—ranging from standby help with a walker to two-person or Hoyer lifts for bed-bound residents—are available. An activity director coordinates daily programming to complement the medical services.
Apartments vary by layout, so not every unit includes every feature, but options include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and individual climate controls. Residents may paint or decorate their rooms, and basic cable, housekeeping, and scheduled laundry services are provided. Independent Living residents receive weekly housekeeping and laundry as part of their package, with flexibility to add à-la-carte services if their needs change.
Dining follows a set menu with an alternate entrée available on order at each meal. Snacks are accessible throughout the day, and meals may be served in the main dining room, a private family room, or delivered to the apartment when a resident prefers in-room dining. The culinary team manages physician-ordered diets, gluten-free meals, and other modifications, ensuring consistency with any special dietary directives. Independent Living residents can purchase a monthly meal plan that covers the majority of their dining needs while still allowing them the option to prepare light meals in their kitchenettes.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, and scheduled transportation via a community car service. Amenities include a barber and beauty shop, movie room, library, and regular religious services conducted on the premises.
