Woodlands Memory Care and Assisted Living focuses exclusively on Memory Care and is prepared to support residents through every stage of dementia, including advanced conditions. The community is equipped to serve individuals who wander day or night, are at risk of elopement, present combative or other behavioral issues, stay up throughout the night, or require wound care, oxygen, or specialized diets. Residents under 60 are accepted, and the team can manage diabetics on oral medications, injections, or sliding‐scale protocols.
To deliver this level of care, the building maintains RN and LPN coverage, an awake night shift, and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. All employees undergo background checks, and the property’s fenced perimeter and alarmed doors add an extra layer of security. On-site services include podiatry, dental care, psychiatric support, a therapy room, and regular rounding by primary care physicians and registered nurses. Staff can provide total assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained for every transfer scenario from simple standby help to Hoyer lift or bed-bound moves.
Residences come furnished, and residents may paint or otherwise personalize their rooms. Cable service, housekeeping, and scheduled laundry are provided. Ten units have private half baths, while other rooms share common facilities, so prospective residents should verify the exact features of the room being considered.
Meals follow a set menu with snacks available between dining periods. The kitchen can accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chop, pureed, and thickened-liquid diets, and staff are trained in diet modifications and management for medical or cultural needs.
The campus is wheelchair accessible and offers a barber and beauty shop, a wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, common showers, and on-site religious services. Transportation can be arranged for medical appointments or personal errands.
