HarborChase of Southlake offers two levels of residential care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—with a clinical program that covers a wide range of medical needs. The community accepts residents who wander in the morning or evening, those at risk of elopement, individuals who stay up all night, people using oxygen, and diabetics who require either oral medication or insulin injections. Staff are also trained to support advanced dementia conditions, aiming to keep residents safe while preserving as much independence as possible.
Clinical services are reinforced by an on-site team that includes registered and licensed nurses, an activity director, and caregivers who remain awake through the night. Background checks are standard for all employees. On-site resources span medication management and coordination, visits from an optometrist, dentist, podiatrist, massage therapist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist, along with hospice, ambulatory, and incontinence care. Residents can receive full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and transfer help ranges from standby support to two-person or bed-bound transfers. Memory Care areas are laid out specifically to reduce confusion and enhance safety.
Resident suites vary in layout. Some offer a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, and the option to paint or decorate the room, while others include only a selection of these features. Families should review the exact room configuration during a tour to confirm which amenities are available.
Meals follow a set menu designed to meet nutritional guidelines, and refreshments are accessible between scheduled dining times. Staff monitor dietary restrictions and can assist residents who need help eating.
The community provides resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, a wellness center, and regular laundry and housekeeping services. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments and local errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
