The Reserve at Pasadena Assisted Living and Memory Care delivers assisted-living support that can be adjusted for residents with wandering, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral needs, advanced dementia, sleep reversal, oxygen use, special diets, and diabetes managed by either oral medication or injections. Residents younger than 60 can also be accommodated. An RN or LPN is on staff, and a nurse is on call around the clock to monitor health changes, coordinate physician orders, and oversee medication. The community welcomes primary-care physician rounding and visiting podiatry, and it can accept residents with psychiatric diagnoses when appropriate.
Safety and direct care are reinforced by background-checked, awake night-shift staff, 24-hour security on site, alarmed doors, a fenced rear perimeter, pull-cord alerts, and personal emergency response systems. A full-time activity director plans structured engagement to reduce agitation and promote cognition. Hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting can be provided at full-assistance levels, and the team can perform standby, one-person, or two-person transfers for residents who use walkers or wheelchairs.
Apartments vary, but many offer private bathrooms, kitchenettes, individual climate controls, cable access, and the option to personalize paint or décor. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are supplied for all units, although not every room includes every listed feature.
Dining offers both set menus and on-order selections served three times daily, with snacks available between meals. Therapeutic diets—mechanical soft, chopped, puréed, thickened liquids, and other physician-ordered modifications—are prepared as needed. A private dining room can be reserved for family visits or special occasions.
Residents have access to on-site parking, outdoor smoking areas, and wheelchair-accessible common spaces that include a barber and beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, a wellness center, activity rooms, and communal gardens. Internet service, concierge support, backup power, medication management, scheduled transportation, and on-site religious services round out the offerings. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
