Total Loving Care II is a state-licensed residential care home that can look after residents with a wide range of healthcare needs, including those who wander, stay up all night, live with oxygen therapy, require wound care, follow special diets, or manage diabetes by oral medication or insulin. The home accepts adults under 60 and is equipped to support advanced dementia and other complex cognitive conditions without relying on outside agencies for routine oversight.
The clinical program is anchored by an RN/LPN on staff, a nurse on call around the clock, and awake night staff. All employees undergo background checks and work in a building protected by door alarms, a fenced rear area, in-house security, and PERS alerts. Podiatry, dental services, pharmacy coordination, primary-care and nurse-practitioner rounding, psychiatric care acceptance, and home health visits are available on site, reducing the need for outside appointments. Direct care includes full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting as well as safe transfers ranging from standby help to two-person or Hoyer-lift moves for bed-bound residents. Walkers and wheelchairs are fully supported.
Private and semi-private rooms are offered furnished, and families may arrange to paint or decorate subject to community guidelines. Cable television, housekeeping, scheduled laundry, and a backup generator are available, though not every room includes every feature, so it is best to confirm during a tour.
Meals follow a set menu that can be modified for gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chopped, puréed, or thickened-liquid requirements. Snacks are accessible throughout the day, and staff manage physician-ordered diets to support diabetes, cardiac concerns, and other medical needs.
Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, barrier-free common spaces, an on-site barber and beauty shop, community internet, religious services, special-interest clubs, and scheduled transportation for medical or personal outings.
