Gateway Villas & Gardens Assisted Living provides standard assisted-living services with a focus on residents who need consistent medical oversight. The community is prepared to care for individuals who wander, attempt elopement, display combative or other behavioral issues, stay up all night, require wound care, use oxygen, follow special diets, are under 60 years old, or manage diabetes with either oral medication or injections. Staff members are trained to support advanced dementia conditions, and care plans are adjusted as symptoms progress.
An RN or LPN is on staff, a nurse is on call 24 hours a day, and all employees undergo background checks. The night shift is awake, and the rear of the property is fenced to help prevent unsupervised exits. On-site podiatry visits are available, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Assistance is offered for bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting at a full-support level. Transfer help ranges from standby and one-person assists to two-person or full Hoyer-lift transfers, accommodating walkers and wheelchairs.
Resident apartments may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, furnishings, independent temperature controls, permission to paint or decorate, and cable service, though not every unit has each feature. Housekeeping and maintenance are provided as part of the base rate, and laundry service is available for personal items and linens.
Meals are served three times daily from a set menu, with an option to order alternatives; snacks are available between meals. For independent-living residents, medication management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry, and a monthly meal plan can be arranged.
On-site amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, scheduled transportation for appointments and errands, and regular religious services held within the community.
