Arbor House–Marble Falls provides three levels of residential care: Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. Residents with early, mid-stage, or advanced dementia can remain on campus, eliminating the need for disruptive moves as needs change. The Memory Care program is designed to manage behaviors such as wandering, exit-seeking, agitation, or nighttime wakefulness, while Assisted Living supports adults who require help with daily routines but still want a measure of autonomy. Independent Living tenants can reside in the same community, benefiting from a lighter service package yet gaining immediate access to higher levels of support should circumstances evolve.
Clinical services are delivered under the oversight of an RN/LPN, with a nurse on call 24 hours a day. Staff members have passed background checks, remain awake on the night shift, and operate within a secured building that includes a fenced rear area for those prone to elopement. On-site professionals offer podiatry visits and accept residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Direct care spans full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer capabilities range from supervision with a walker to two-person or Hoyer-lift moves for bed-bound individuals. The team is trained to manage oxygen use, wound care, special diets, and both oral and injectable diabetes regimens, ensuring continuity for residents with complex health profiles.
Accommodation choices include suites with or without private bathrooms, some with kitchenettes, furnished setups, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or otherwise decorate the room. Not every unit has every feature, so prospective residents should confirm specific amenities during a tour. Wheelchair-friendly layouts and emergency call systems come standard across the community, supporting both safety and independence.
Meals are prepared from a set menu, with diet modifications such as diabetic, low-sodium, or texture-altered plans available on physician order. Snacks are accessible throughout the day to help residents who benefit from smaller, more frequent feedings. Independent Living participants may elect medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry service, and a monthly meal plan, allowing them to tailor support while maintaining a self-directed lifestyle.
Residents have access to on-site religious services, internet connectivity, and wheelchair-accessible common areas. Transportation for medical appointments and scheduled errands is offered, and resident parking is available for those who still drive.
