Rockbrook Memory Care is a memory-care–only community equipped to manage every stage of dementia, including advanced conditions. The clinical team accepts residents who wander, exhibit exit-seeking behaviors, show combativeness, stay up at night, or require wound care, oxygen support, or diabetes management—whether by oral medication, injections, or sliding scale. On-site medical services include regular nurse oversight, medication management, incontinence and ambulatory care, hospice coordination, physical and occupational therapy, dental and podiatry visits, and programs expressly designed to accommodate memory loss.
Care delivery is supported by an RN or LPN on site, a nurse on call around the clock, and an awake night shift backed by 24-hour staffed security and door alarms. All employees undergo background checks, and an activity director ensures daily cognitive and physical engagement. Direct personal care can extend to full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to one- or two-person transfers, walker and wheelchair support, and even bed-bound care when needed.
Private rooms are available and include individual bathrooms, though not every accommodation offers the same features, so it’s important to verify specific layouts during a visit. Hallways are wide and wheelchair accessible, and visual cues help residents navigate safely within secured neighborhoods designed for memory support.
Meals follow a set menu prepared to meet dietary guidelines, and staff provide full eating assistance when required. Specialized meal oversight is available for residents managing diabetes or other medical diets, ensuring nutritional needs align with each care plan.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, wheelchair accessibility throughout the building, an on-site barber and beauty shop, a wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, a parlor room with a full kitchen, a small boutique for resident shopping, an indoor walking path, a whirlpool bath, and an aviary.
