Cedar Crest Senior Living Lewisville delivers two levels of care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—with clinical protocols that cover a broad range of health needs. Residents who wander, are at risk for elopement, stay up all night, require oxygen, or live with diabetes (oral medication, injections, or sliding scale) are accepted, and the team is equipped to support individuals under 60 as well as those living with advanced dementia.
The community maintains RN/LPN coverage, a 24-hour nurse on call, awake night staff, and door-alarm security. On-site medical resources include up to 16 hours of nursing per day, hospice coordination, wound care, stroke care, speech and occupational therapy, medication management, and individualized care planning. Staff can provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, some help with eating, and a range of transfer support from standby to two-person transfers, whether by walker or wheelchair.
Private and companion accommodations are available; some offer in-room cable, while others do not. A set menu is prepared daily, with attention to therapeutic diets such as low-sugar or carbohydrate-controlled meals for residents managing diabetes. Not all rooms include the same features, so prospective residents should confirm details during a tour.
Independent Living residents have access to the same campus dining program and may elect laundry service for an additional fee, keeping personal chores to a minimum while retaining a more autonomous lifestyle.
Amenities on site include a barber and beauty shop, communal gardens for outdoor time, and regular religious services held in the building. Pets are allowed. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
