The community accepts individuals who wander during the day or night, are at risk for elopement, display combative or other challenging behaviors, remain awake overnight, require oxygen, follow special diets, are younger than 60, or manage diabetes with oral medication.

Registered and licensed nurses are on staff, with a nurse on call around the clock. Caregivers stay awake on the night shift, and every employee undergoes background checks. The building has 24-hour security, fenced outdoor space, and alarmed doors to help reduce wandering risk. Residents may see an on-site podiatrist, and staff can provide complete assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from standby help to full transfers with a Hoyer lift, including care for those who are bed-bound.

Accommodation choices include furnished rooms with private bathrooms, independent temperature controls, cable access, and the option to paint or decorate with personal items. Not every room contains every feature, so it is advisable to confirm specific details when touring the community.

Meals follow a set menu served three times daily, with routine snacks offered between meals. The culinary team manages doctor-ordered diet modifications, including diabetic and other special diets, to align with each resident’s care plan.

Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, and pets are welcome. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. The property is wheelchair accessible and offers a barber and beauty shop, movie room, communal gardens, internet service, and on-site religious services. Daily housekeeping, daily laundry, medication management, and scheduled transportation are included to support residents’ day-to-day needs.
