Metroplex Residential Senior Care – Keller #1 provides both Assisted Living and Residential Care Home levels of service, making it suitable for residents who need occasional help as well as those requiring more continuous oversight. The team is prepared to manage diabetes — whether residents are on oral medications, insulin injections, or sliding-scale dosing — and can administer oxygen, handle wound care, and accommodate physician-ordered special diets. Staff members have protocols for residents who wander during the day or night, exhibit elopement risk, or stay awake overnight, and the community is able to support individuals living with advanced dementia conditions. Younger adults who are under 60 and need a supportive setting can also be admitted.
Care delivery is backed by background-checked employees, an awake night shift, 24-hour staffing, door alarms, and a personal emergency response system that alerts caregivers. The staff can give full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from simple standby support to one- or two-person assists, and extends to full Hoyer-lift transfers for bed-bound residents. Walkers and wheelchairs are easily accommodated, ensuring mobility aids are integrated into the daily routine.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, and some—though not all—include in-room cable service for personal entertainment. Rooms are arranged to allow clear pathways for mobility equipment, and basic furnishings are provided, with residents welcome to add personal items as space permits.
Dining follows a set menu designed to align with medical and cultural dietary requirements. Three scheduled meals are served daily, with snacks available between meal times. Modifications for diabetic, low-sodium, or other physician-ordered diets can be made, and staff are on hand to provide full feeding assistance when needed.
Residents benefit from wheelchair-accessible common areas, campus-wide internet access, and secure communal gardens for fresh air and supervised strolls. Housekeeping and personal laundry are handled by staff on a scheduled basis, keeping rooms tidy and linens fresh so residents can focus on their daily routines.
