Lilac Assisted Living – Humble operates as a residential care home and is equipped to serve residents with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. The team supports individuals who wander during the day or night, display combative or other challenging behaviors, require wound care or oxygen therapy, need specialized diets, or live with diabetes managed by oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Residents under 60 are accepted, and staff are experienced with advanced dementia conditions.
Clinical oversight is strengthened by an RN/LPN on staff, an awake night shift, and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. All employees undergo background checks, and the rear grounds are fenced; a PERS alert system brings staff quickly to any resident who signals for help. On-site podiatry visits are offered, and the community will admit residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Full assistance can be provided with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby support to one-person lifts, and residents who use walkers, wheelchairs, or who are bed-bound can be safely accommodated.
Private rooms are available, some with an en-suite bathroom and furnishings in place; families may paint or decorate the space to fit personal preferences, and cable hookup is offered in certain rooms. Because room features vary, prospective residents should confirm which specific amenities come with the accommodation they select. Housekeeping, linen changes, and personal laundry are handled by staff, and independent-living residents can choose medication-management monitoring, housekeeping, and laundry on an à-la-carte basis.
Dining follows a set menu that can be modified for physician-ordered diets, diabetes management, or texture changes. Three meals plus scheduled snacks are prepared on site, and staff remain available to provide full assistance for residents who require help eating.
Common areas are wheelchair accessible, an exercise room supports basic fitness activities, and internet access is provided for residents who wish to stay connected. Outdoor time can be enjoyed in the communal gardens, and on-site religious services are held for those who wish to participate. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments, shopping, and local outings.
