The Tradition – Woodway offers assisted-living with a clinical scope that covers both routine aging needs and more complex medical situations. The community accepts residents who wander at any time of day, have a history of elopement, display combative or behavioral issues, or stay up all night. Wound care, oxygen therapy, specialized diets, and diabetes management—whether oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale regimens—are supported. The team is also equipped to serve adults under 60 and individuals living with advanced dementia.
A licensed nurse is on site 24 hours a day, backed by additional RN/LPN staff, thorough background checks, continuous security, and an awake night shift. Residents wear personal emergency response pendants that alert staff around-the-clock. On-site medical services include podiatry, audiology, and comprehensive medication management, with transportation or coordination for other healthcare appointments as needed. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from supervision with a walker to one- or two-person lifts for wheelchair users, matching each resident’s mobility status.
Accommodation options may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, and the ability to paint or decorate the room. These features vary by unit, so families should verify availability when touring. Laundry service is offered for an additional fee.
Dining follows a set menu with the flexibility to order alternatives at mealtimes, and snacks are always on hand. The kitchen staff prepares mechanical-chopped, puréed, or thickened-liquid meals for residents with swallowing difficulties, and the team can accommodate physician-ordered therapeutic diets.
Residents have access to on-site parking, outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber/beauty shop, exercise room, wellness center, library, arts and crafts room, and scheduled religious services. Concierge service, routine housekeeping, full-building generator backup, and community transportation are included. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
