Wenzy’s Place #2 operates as a residential care home and is organized to handle a broad range of medical needs. The team is prepared for residents who wander, display combative or other behavioral issues, use oxygen, require special diets, or live with diabetes managed by oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale protocols. People under 60 and those with advanced dementia can be accommodated. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on staff, a nurse is on call around the clock, and visiting podiatry services are available, giving families a single location for most routine clinical oversight.
Daily support extends to full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfer help covers walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, one-person, and two-person transfers, which means residents with limited mobility have consistent hands-on support. Safety measures include 24-hour awake staff, background-checked employees, door alarms, a fenced rear area, and overall on-site security at all hours.
Private and semi-private rooms are available. Some come furnished and wired for cable, while others allow residents to bring their own furniture, paint, or decorate; not every room includes every feature, so families can select what fits their needs and budget. Shared common areas offer additional space for socializing or quiet time.
Meals follow a set menu with attention to physician-ordered diets when required. Snacks are available between meals, and staff can provide full assistance during mealtimes for anyone who needs help with feeding.
Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible pathways, a barber and beauty shop, internet access, and communal gardens. On-site religious services are scheduled regularly. Medication management, laundry, and housekeeping are handled by staff, and transportation can be arranged for medical appointments, errands, or social outings.
