Caring Haven is a residential care home that concentrates on medically attentive living. The community can manage residents who rely on oxygen, need special diet preparation, are younger than 60, or live with diabetes controlled by either oral medications or insulin injections. Staff are experienced with mild dementia, and care plans are adjusted to maintain safety and consistency for these residents.
The home maintains an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on call around the clock. All employees undergo background checks, an overnight staff remains on site, and the building is protected by 24-hour security, a fenced rear area, and alarmed doors. Medication management is handled in house, and a rounding primary-care provider visits regularly. Daily living support is available: caregivers give some physical help with bathing, dressing, and toileting, offer standby supervision during meals, and provide standby assistance for transfers.
Rooms are furnished, and residents may repaint or decorate to make the space their own, though specific features vary by unit. Cable service, routine housekeeping, and scheduled laundry are available so residents can keep living areas clean and organized without extra effort.
Meals follow a set menu, and the kitchen can accommodate physician-ordered diet modifications as well as vegetarian choices. The staff coordinates closely with medical providers to ensure diabetic, low-sodium, or other specialized diets are prepared accurately.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, outdoor smoking areas, a barber and beauty shop, internet connectivity, communal gardens, and scheduled religious services. Transportation is arranged for medical appointments and local errands, adding another layer of practical support.
